Retinal Imaging using Fundus Photography

During your routine eye exam, we can capture images of the inside of your eye using fundus photography, which helps us detect eye diseases early—before they cause noticeable symptoms.

There’s no preparation needed on your part. We might use eye drops to dilate your pupils first, which takes only a few minutes to work. Then you’ll look into a special camera that captures the images. We use these photos to examine the retina, a part of the eye that helps you see.
